I am currently researching New York, Middle East and German art markets for my forthcoming monograph with I.B. Tauris (2018): Women Can’t Paint: Gender, the Glass Ceiling and Values in Contemporary Art.
I am speaking at this year’s annual Association of Art Historians conference (April 2017). My paper is titled ‘Female Patrons in a Masculine Economy: The Decreasing Visibility of Women Artists on the UK Market’. This was selected by the Director of Christies New York for the panel Gendering Patronage: Women Artists and the Contemporary Art Market. Please contact for further details or an abstract.
